We found Cowboy Cafe while passing through town on a road trip. The place was as cute as the town it's located in! Food was delicious and the service was fantastic. (We had the chicken melt. It had pesto, walnuts and bleu cheese!!! Fries and salad were great too!) Keep up the good work! Next time we will save room for some pie!
After a long day of adventuring in Yellowstone, I'm so glad this place was down the street from where we stayed. The establishment itself was pretty rustic and certainly made me realize I wasn't in the big city, which is a pleasant feeling. The food was delicious! I had a burger and peach pie, as did one of my companions. The other person in my party had the country fried steak (or chicken fried steak) and spoke wonders of how it was the best he'd ever had. Our waitress was kind and attentive. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area.
The food, service, and prices were excellent. We were traveling through and ran into this gem. Super friendly servers, and very large portions!! Be sure to come with a big appetite cause you want to eat every bite.
The Cowboy Cafe is the best in town. The service is a well rehearsed team of very friendly servers and cooks that really know their food! A good menu that changes for the dinner service offers some very good choices. I was fortunate enough to have breakfast, lunch and dinner over the course of three days and EVERY time was fantastic.
Do not miss the pie! Locally made with 15+ choices, there is a pie for everyone. Thank you!
This place was delicious and amazing! We were driving through, looking for somewhere to eat, when we stumbled upon this quaint cafe. It was packed with customers, which we took as a good sign, and we stopped. The food was SO GOOD, especially the PIE. Seriously, get the pie. We ate here twice in a 4 day trip and got pie both times. Breakfast was best meal.
